Welcome, I am Ms. Stephanie Snead, a mother, teacher, and literacy advocate. I am a Raleigh native, with a bachelor's degree from NC State University, master's degree from Capella University, and Principal's License from Appalachian State University. I have six years of teaching experience and I enjoy helping students embrace reading, literacy, and history.
As an educational trailblazer, I use a creative approaches in designing lessons to enhance students learning. I am a project-based learning teacher. I enjoy triggering my students curiosity and creating rigorous and engaging learning experiences . My philosophy is to inspire my students to love reading, writing, and history and to give them meaningful, engaging, and motivating choices to meets their individual learning needs.
I love to engage my students in problem-solving projects that enhances their critical-thinking, communication, collaborative, and creativity skills. I believe that all students are capable of learning and if given the right interventions they can achieve academically, embrace learning, and become productive citizens.
